Noortime is built on a simple principle: your personal data belongs to you. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect (very little), how we use it (we don't), and what your rights are (complete control).
The Short Version
Noortime operates entirely on your device. We do not have servers that store your location, your prayer history, or any personally identifiable information. We have designed the app so that none of this data ever needs to leave your phone.
Information We Do Not Collect
- Your location or GPS coordinates
- Your prayer schedule or habits
- Your name, email, or contact information
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
- Crash reports or diagnostic logs sent to our servers
Information Stored On Your Device
The only data Noortime stores is kept locally on your device using iOS standard storage mechanisms. This includes your preferred city or location, your chosen prayer calculation method, and your app settings and preferences. This data never leaves your device.
Location Access
If you grant Noortime permission to access your location, your coordinates are used solely to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction in real time on your device. Location data is never transmitted to any server, third party, or external service.
Third-Party Services
Noortime does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or data-collection services. There are no SDKs in the app that collect or transmit your data.
Children's Privacy
Noortime does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe and appropriate for all ages.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever update this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Given the nature of our architecture, any future changes are very unlikely to expand what we collect — and we commit to never doing so without clear notice.
