By downloading or using Noortime, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them — they are straightforward and written to be understood, not to obscure your rights.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Noortime mobile application ("App") developed and maintained by Noortime ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. The App & Its Purpose

Noortime provides prayer time calculations, Qibla direction, and related Islamic utilities as a free, ad-free service. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

Accuracy of Calculations

Prayer times are calculated using established astronomical formulas and recognized Islamic calculation methods. While we strive for accuracy, times may vary slightly based on location precision and calculation method selected. Users should verify times with local authorities for official religious purposes.

3. Free Forever Policy

The core features of Noortime are free and will remain free. We do not have a paid tier for prayer times, Qibla direction, or features currently available. Future features may be offered as optional paid additions, but existing functionality will never be paywalled.

4. Intellectual Property

All content within the App, including but not limited to design, code, graphics, and copy, is the property of Noortime and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

Quran & Islamic Texts

Any Quranic text or translation included in the App is sourced from established, publicly available translations. All copyright and usage rights applicable to those translations apply.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use the App in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or interferes with other users' ability to use the App. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the App.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the App is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Noortime shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

8. Changes to the App & Terms

We reserve the right to modify the App and these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
